Roger Federer to make a shock return to professional tennis!: Roger Federer has hinted at a possible return to professional tennis, focusing on exhibition matches rather than a full-scale competitive comeback. After retiring in 2022 due to knee issues, Federer has been actively rehabbing and recently updated fans on his progress. Although he is unlikely to rejoin the ATP Tour, he is enthusiastic about playing in exhibitions, possibly including high-profile events with former rivals like Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray (Eurosport) (Tennis365).

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Federer said: “I don’t think we’ll play doubles together at Laver. But if he asks me, I’ll be there.”
